and then proceded to cite the casualty figures from the Korean War. However, she evidently didn't notice that the quoted statement followed this sentence: "After the truce that more-or-less ended the Korean war, the military-industrial complex had relatively little trouble getting Congress to keep the draft in place. " So the Korean stastics do not address what I wrote at all, which clearly referred to the period AFTER the armistice in Korea. K.Mickey
