Do all 60,000,000 law-abiding American gun-owners refrain at

all times from the consumption of alcohol when in the proximity

of their legally purchased 9mm's?

Do all drivers do this? I will say that everyone I've met who carries concealed will at least say that they take the responsibility very seriously and will stay away from anything they feel might impair their judgement. That includes lack of sleep.

I've never said that there aren't irresponsible gun owners, just as there are irresponsible beer drinkers and Presidents. I'm all for the criminalization of irresponsible gun use. Whoops, that's already illegal.

What's I'm not interested in is pre-judging gun owners as criminals.

And that's exactly what you're doing when you say you're "afraid of guns" and it's exactly why I label that "irrational" ...

Does road rage never seize them when their handy-dandy pistolas

happen to be in the glove compartment?

See, even with your mocking words you give away that you're not open to the fact that aberrant criminal behavior is not something that's activated by guns per se.

But enough about me; how about you go find the answer to your question (how often does a handy pistol turn road rage into a shooting?) and come back to us with your answer. I'll bet that the answer you find, should you bother, will surprise you. If you get stuck, let me know.
