I wouldn't have the slightest idea who said it, but it has a sort of Platonic ring -- & Russell did declare himself a Platonist in respect to mathematics. But since Doug addresses the question to postie- bashers, it's probably Lacan or Butler. But that would make sense also. As far as I could construe *Bodies That Matter* it moved towards Platonic universals from vulgar materialist premises.
