You might be interested to know, Podner, that Texas and
perhaps other states have the option of splitting themselves
up into several states, gaining two senators for each new
state.  My buddies in the Gov told me this a while.  I believe
it was part of the deal brining Tx into the Union.

Just imagine.  Ten Phil Gramms instead of one.
