Yeah, a beaut article, eh, Charles?  Struggle IS.  Functional stasis is
NOT.  I reckon this squares okay with my naive little claim (by some
accounts, anyway) that our lot is 'consciously to make a difference, to
pursue one future moment as opposed to another - and for a reason that
makes sense to us'.

I'm not generally given to dramatic sloganeering, but 'we are struggle'
works just fine for me.
