Charles: The Reagan/Bush administrations got away with half of what Clinton did or more. Much of the rightwing agenda is being carried out today at the state and city level where Republicans are governors and mayors. Plus, Clinton never would have been able to do what he did without Reaganism knocking things way to the right first. Much of the right stuff during Clinton's period is initiated and pushed by the Rep Congress. Reps and Dems as Tweedle Dee /Tweedle Dum is one thing, but the idea of Dems as more like fascists than the Reaganite Republicans is love of irony more than reality.

Don't take your eye off of the Republicans in keeping a lookout for fascism.
