Anti-semitic, anti-immigrant

In *Behemoth* Franz Neumann made the attempt to connect anti semitism to
the very money fetishism that Marx had critiqued in his anti Proudhon.
Moishe Postone develops the argument in his contribution to Germans and
Jews since the Holocaust, ed. Anson Rabinbach (Martin Jay's contribution to
that volume very helpfully analyzes the various explanations for anti
semitism in Neumann's classic, including the spearhead theory included as
an appendix to the revised ed; both Rabinbach and Jay are interested to
point to the limits of traditional Marxist explanations for anti semitism).
