I am reminded of a practice we followed in SDS back in 68/69 when we maintained a booth in the lobby of the university union. If a flaming hawk came along at a time when others were in earshot, we would assume a stance of extreme politeness and rationality and debate him (usually him) at length. If there was no audience, we would say *fuck off*!

There are of course probably many "undeveloped libertarians," not really fixed in the metaphysics. They would be worthwhile conversing with. I see no point in debating a committed libertarian all by him/herself Unlike fish in a barrel they will keep insisting they're alive even after they're dead.
