In short, for East Timor, prospects for creating its own currency or
pegging to other Euro or Australian Dollar remain a subject for further
discussion. A more likely scenario is that it must be under a Currency
Board Arrangement pegged to Euro, or Australian Dollar (subject to
bilateral negotiation)
