i think i mentioned (well, i probably went on about it for some time) something about forced labour, terror... but he seemed to think this was so extraneous, he kept right on asking the question. and i kept on answering the question as if it was an innocent/ignorant question, blithely repressing the bits about "envy of the world" and weimar profligacy -- which just proves i was more innocent than henry, i was so unprepared to beleive he was saying what he was saying. i was even idiot enough to suggest moderation to max at one point -- my ongoing apologies max.
