LaRouche in the seventies during his turn to the right initiated
something called "Operation Mop Up" where his group took baseball bats
beat and disrupted other left groups. Noam Chomsky had his office and
automobile vandalized and recieved death threats from the LaRouche
group. The Dennis King book goes into all this,  detailing the scams
LaRouche ran ripping off wealthy elderly people. King claims LaRouche
went nuts after a breakup with his first wife.
