Fight for open borders! For international solidarity!

De Fabel van de illegaal commits itself to help refugees and migrants. The policy of the government is based on the selection and illigalisation of these people. The illegalised are then cut off from all kinds of social benefits, are exploited by businesses and are chased by the police. After apprehension they are usually imprisoned and finally deported. This policy is becoming increasingly repressive. Proof are the new Koppelingswet and the growing number of detention centers for illegal people. In their attempt to justify their repressive policy, authorities spread fables and stories about how criminal and profiteering illegal people are. De Fabel resist these policies and strives for open borders.

De Fabel is a radical-left organization working from grassroots level. We strife for a socialist and feminist society.

To achieve this, a fundamental, global revolution of social order and ownership is necessary. De Fabel focuses its work on refugees and migration and considers it a practical starting-point for international solidarity. The political activities of De Fabel comprise of:

- investigation into the practice of alien policy, such as raids, detention regimes and the grounds for refusal of refugees. These issues are made public in our magazine (dutch language). organization of marches, demonstrations and actions. We mobilize people in Leiden for national anti-racist actions.
