To the surprize of nobody, I would agree.

I am struck by the extent to which those who opposed the Kosovo intervention support this one because instead of the U.S., it's the UN.

At the same time, it is acknowledged that the UN is a creature of the U.S.

So who is confused here?

We need a nice comprehensive history of UN interventions and peacekeeping, warts and all. Citations would be appreciated. This sort of thing is going to happen quite often, and I think everybody has a lot of sorting out to do. I may actually break down a read a book on this topic.
