(((((((((((((( SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME! JOSHUA EDWARDS DID THE RIGHT THING!
On September 26, 1998, Joshua Edwards, a 20 year old African-American man, was confronted by two neo-nazi/racist thugs, armed with shotguns in the parking lot of his Southern Lancaster County home. Fortunately forJoshua, he was prepared and successfully defended his life by killing one racist and wounding the other. Joshua not only did the right thing, but in that situation, did the only thing possible to save his life.
For his heroic deed, Joshua now sits in the Lancaster County Prison serving 1-2 years for manslaughter, after which he will be on probation for 10 years! The surviving racist has not been charged with any offense (he was carrying a sawed-off shotgun, which are illegal in Pennsylvania)!
IT'S 1999 AND THE LANCASTER COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEYS' OFFICE AND JUDGE MICHAEL PEREZOUS STILL DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE RIGHT OF A BLACK PERSON TO DEFEND HIMSELF FROM A RACIST ATTACK BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!
