Here's some anecdotal evidence. la's hardcore station KXLU, broadcasting from Jesuit campus Loyola Marymount, (sf's punk station KUSF comes from another catholic college,the university of san francisco. is this common across the country?) is having a fund drive and as of this morning was about $10,000 short of it's goal of $100,000. If they make it, and it looks like they will, it will be the first time in four or five years.
