The fact of the matter is that the Democrat party is a franchise operation
composed of thousands of Democrat parties. For example,
and since he will no doubt have a few things to say, J. Brads Democrat
party. I'm sure that J.Brad has his pals, his relatives and old school
chums that he can count on to go out and vote the Democrat ticket on election
day. So the J.Brad Democrats probably can mobilize some votes.
Now if any of J.Brad's pals have money and want to make a little investment
in the the election that makes things more interesting.

There are Democrat parties that are road building or paving parties.
There are Democrat parties that are ethnic clubs. There are Democrat
parties that are "animal clubs" and veterans drinking societies.
There are Democrat parties that are Labor unions. You name it there is
probably a Democrat party for it and all of these parties are composed
of smaller Democrat parties. Some of these parties have ideologies.
Some of these parties have no idea what the word ideology means.

I've mentioned this before and I highly recommend to all that they should
read the classic American political how-to book Plunkitt of Tammany
Hall.
