Cambodian garment exports hit REUTERS
Phnom Penh, April 10: Cambodia's exports of clothes fell by almost 5 per cent in the first quarter compared to the year earlier due to a quota agreement with the United States and factory strikes, officials said on Monday. Cambodia exported $123.1 million worth of garments during the first three months of the year, compared with $129.6 million during the first three months of 1999, said Him Vibol Thon, an official with the ministry's statistics office.
