Actually, I read this article a little differently from arrogant stupidity. It seems to me that the point of the article was not Ikea real or imagined, but to vent increasing American hostility to Russia.
It seems to me that our reporting on Russia has been increasingly unfriendly.
I'm not sure what, but there is something brewing.
