There are exceptions. The reporter who did the Washington Post profile on me and the Anarchist Soccer League did alot of background checking. But I got the impression that he preferred using the Web and Lexis/Nexis.
I thought my interview with Time magazine sucked, but I was surprised that they used some substantive quotes from me. I didn't feel comfortable talking with the reporter over my cell phone, because she had emailed the questions the night before and I was hoping to respond via email.
We seemed to get less and less questions about "Eugene anarchists" as the weekend wore on. From the media accounts I've read about A16 anarchists, I'd say that I'm generally happy. It could be alot worse and will probably get worse in the future.

"A society is a healthy society only to the degree that it exhibits anarchistic traits."
