A wake up call for right wing Afrikaners - maybe. Otherwise not really much of a turning point. It just showed up the AWB for what they really were - paper tigers inflated by the apartheid regime to rush the ANC into a quick settlement to avoid the alleged threat of far right violence. It was Bophutatswana by the way.
