Poor John Stossel. The 20/20 TV reporter's credibility was briefly put up on the auction block this week on eBay, the Internet clearing house.
It's been a little more than a week since Stossel was obliged to apologize on air for inaccuracies in a recent report the ABC newsmagazine filed on the organic food industry.
An eBay customer who set up the mock auction roasted Stossel for collecting handsome fees for speaking to large corporations whose side he had also reported on.
Before the auction offer was pulled off the site, Stossel's credibility had drawn four bids -- the highest was only $2.25.
