Satire Is Dead

I must share this. Tonight, on the CBS affiliate in Detroit, there was a
local news report concerning six children between the ages of 2-7 who were
burned to death in a low-rent apartment fire. Shots of the burned-out
windows suddenly gave way to stock footage of Diana Ross, in a white sequin
gown, performing before a large audience. The anchor said that Miss Ross, as
a child, lived in the same apartment complex.
