But I did take your ideas seriously though I have not responded yet. I was planning to do so after careful rereading of the whole thread.

But I too now wonder. The question of the cause of AIDS simply is not a question. It's known. It is as ridiculous for non-specialists to argue it as it would be for non-specialists to argue over the chemistry of protein or the measurement of astronomical distances.

The oppression of black people in the United States will cripple the nation (and given that nation's power, possibly the world) if it is not smashed. And the question has never figured as importantly as it should on this maillist or on any of the maillists to which I subscribe. It is almost criminal to fuck up a discussion of racial oppression by dragging in such vicious nonsense about the cause of AIDS.
