But that question is irrelevant, at least outside cultish grouplets. Personal views of people matter only if we consider personal ties with them, which in case of long dead people is of course irrelevant. The only relevant issue is what use we can make of their writings to understand or make a change in the world around us (the Bearded One had no problems with taking advantage of the products of capitalism and 'subsuming' them for socialist use). Everything else is just parole, parole, parole - a concern of symbol manipulators with too much time on their hands and too few real word concerns.
