Constitutional Convention anyone??

Actually as a general issue this is not confined to the US -- but we had
our 'Constitutional Convention' in Australia and it didn't help. Now we are
about to enter the year long idiocy which is the Centenary of Federation.
And it will help even less. But there are interesting people talking about
the continuing issues around 'federalism' here. That, at least, is less
boring that I expected, but it won't get much airplay within our
memorialisation of Federation 1901.
Pleased to see the electoral farce continues over there. Don't disappoint
me now, I want it to at least make the new year.
