as my mother used to say, "if they can see, then they are too close"
of course, you can always try to avoid those time when you just have to lay on your back /shoulders, lift your bottom and kick your legs apart cheerleader style.
this is the same way they market them in the u.s.
there was a good article by ehrenreich, i think, on how western ideals of beauty are promulgated on the shop floor: maybelline distributes (initially) free makeup, mags, guides for facial care, beauty tips. next thing you know, they have a captive audience for the vendor who comes around payday.
i think it's time for a discussion of sponges and where to get them.... :)
