Here we go with that "let's not be against something until we have a full blown viable alternative that will garner substantial majority support and bring about rapid social change" again. Instant gratification applied to politics. Everyone knows the US electorate/society has the attention span of a fruit fly; but cowardly liberals have an enormous opportunity here, akin to what happened in the early days of organizing for the equal rights amendment. Whether they go for it is another matter. Anybody talking to James Fishkin?
