I can't see how this would begin to address the fundamental problems of liberalism, especially the inevitable capitalist plutocracy that results from it. The major stakeholders would simply alter the methods of control to adapt to the new version of the game. Meanwhile, they would continue to promote the happy delusion that we can have class without class war and without the imperialism, poverty, ignorance, racism, sexism, witch-hunting, and other pathologies which class war engenders.

If a Constitutional Convention is held, probably the Second Amendment is not the only part of the Bill of Rights which will go overboard. After all, we've got to suppress drug use and pornography too. And God knows what else. See above.
