So amazingly the secret police were "Clad in dark overcoats and sporting sunglasses" - is this to demonstrate and be unrecognizable at the same time? unrecognizable by whom? how do we know that they were *really* secret police? or is this their uniform, taken from movies or Colorado High Schools?

Would someone with a working TV who catches this strange sight describe it for me?

Men in Black hold

silent protest

Several hundred agents of the United States

Federal Bureau of Investigation, the FBI, have

held an precedented protest march around the

White House in Washington.

They were demonstrating against a

controversial pardon under consideration by

president Clinton for a man Leonard Peltier

convicted of killing two FBI agents in 1975.

Clad in dark overcoats and sporting

sunglasses, the FBI agents marched in silence

two-by-two behind a banner reading "Never

Forget", in reference to their dead colleagues.

The FBI protestors tried to hand in a petition,

but were told by secret service agents at the

White House that they could not do so for

security reasons.
