OK, OK -- not to Youngstown as is (horrors!), but to Youngstown to be transformed into a garden city of your dream through creative manual & mental labor.

Or is Youngstown irredeemable? My proposal -- which I floated a while ago on PEN-l -- did not attract our Canadian comrades either, I recall.

In any case, it's either socialist repopulation & rehabilitation of cities or barbaric destruction of ancient forests, wetlands, farmlands, etc. through uncontrolled suburban & exurban development in the USA. The choice is clear!
