Oh yes, meant to add that Scott McLemee and Adolph Reed have published similar pieces, though not as polemical as Marc's, and Adolph told me that he liked Marc's column quite a bit. Neither of them can be accused of creeping conservatism or a questionable closeness to Arianna Huffington.
