What it means is that a majority of them are white, as your yourself acknowledge--the working class is "disproportionately" minority, but still majority white, and the poll data suggests that substantial plurality of white workers have racist views about members of minorities. I can probably flocate some recent stats iif anyone catres to see them. This should not be a surprise.
But my real point was the same as yours, that we shoukd speak in our own voices, preferably politely, as we we ourselves like to be spoken to, rather than those of the Working Class.
