Contrary to Rakesh, on the great 10 part history of rock and roll that PBS runs about once a year, the episode on the Rolling Stones and the other British Invasion bands like The Animals, has a clip of Brian Jones introducing Howlin' Wolf from a British TV show. Probably 1964 or 1965, from that Whistle Test show. You can see Brian, Keith and Mick in awe of Howlin' Wolf. In fact, Mick met Keith originally when, on the London tube, he saw Keith with a bunch of American blues albums. And Mick blurbed the Alan Lomax book on Delta Blues that Pantheon published a few years ago.

And another piece of trivia on Mick. Remember the SNL show, where LSE grad, Mick, alludes to von Hayek? Or McCauley Caulkin, is reading The Chomsky Reader?
