Ya, but which poem, is it where Allen's Mom, Naomi, throws potato salad at Max Schactman? Those YPSL members at Cal Berkeley in 1962, should have done that to him when he was enthusing about the Bay of Pigs gusanos. They were some Cuban trade unionists after all in Brigade 2506! Max said in the 50's that he would grow hair on the basck of his palm if he ever supported American imperialism, he musta gotten pretty hairy by the time he died in 1973. See the Peter Drucker biography published by Humanities Press or the book by Maurice Isserman on the transition from the Old Left to the New Left.
