I don't think this is a big issue today in the union movement. Sure, there are people who are tied to the big dee-fence contractors; and some on the left who state that war is good for the economy, that's why we have them. There probably are a few people who haven't grasped the high-tech nature of modern warfare and the very real potential use of tactical nuclear weapons and other nasty stuff regardless of how it is delivered.
Also, the dee-fence contractors operate on the profit motive and they will sell anything they can to anybody who is willing to pay, if the government lets them. That's always been the case, I don't see why that would change now.

Mike--This is an excellent url. I'm going to ship it around to other Steelworkers so they can see what we are up against and the corporate/government types pushing this deal.
Just remember, down the road these same corporate/government types will be screaming for war with China if their corporate interests get burnt by a Chinese policy change. You can bet on it!
