Rakesh, I'd never "endorse" the AFL-CIO without qualification. As I said here the other day, the only thing you can say about them with confidence is that they're organizationally and ideologically full of contradictions. There's some bad stuff in the statement, and there's some good stuff. In the international area, the AFL-CIO is definitely better than it was 5 years ago. Calling them social imperialists is way excessive.
