but surely categories like 'stalker' and 'obsessive' would occlude the marxist understandings of class.

CB: But the post as a whole, with the above terms in their places, let each stand in her place, seems dialectically and historically materialist, scientific socialist, proletarian internationalist, Marxist-Leninist, communist enough, with attention to development of the theory as a guide to action, in the end supportive of the proletarian revolution.

&&&&&&& it's quite instructive to watch some of the more dogmatic (and verbose) marxoids here take refuge in tabloid psycho- logism--vulgar derivations of the psychoanalysis and pomo frippery they denounce--when it suits their needs.

CB: I'm a Freudian and student of pop psychology meself. Not so much tabloid as Freud, the talking cure, talking to yourself as a natural remedy stigmatized as typically "crazy", critical study of self-help literature, beer and wine, behaviorism. You know all that junk picked through with common sense and and eye for revolutionary elan. Civilization and its discontents is getting very discontenting to me. You got the wrong "dog". You thinkin' of my homeys, but we don't agree on everything, me and my homeys, as they used to say. I'm the vulgar marxist. marxioid and marxist-leninist. Use terms like "repression, obsession, oppression, double entrendre". But loosely.

Postmods are left Hegelians sort of. After Marx and Engels, we critique our left liberal contemporaries, negatively and positively. In the latter we , flip the postmods off of their heads and onto their feet, and learn something from them as reflections of these times in the vulgar infrastructure where the devil dwells. Yet we ourselves are of the devil, reds , troublemakers.

Any questions ?
