I agree with you CHuck. I really dislike Cooper as well, for his Pacifica stance and for such drivel he's written in favor of that New Age fascist Jerry Brown. I was prepared to loath what he had written about Mumia, but found his arguments most persuasive. He cited many of the same problems I've noted w.r.t. the Mumia movement.

There is a percentage of Mumia supporters that absolutely insist on his innocence. I'm not convinced of his 'innocence' and I think insisting he his is a poor tactical decision. He deserves, at the least, a fair trial. Nobody deserves the DP. But the True Believers insist that you must believe he is innocent, and that case is not easily made.
