The American Enterprise Institute magazine and the National Journal often publish polling data.

In Britain there is an annual publication called 'Social Attitudes' which polls peoples attitudes on a variety of issues and breaks down their responses according to all the usual typologies of sex, class, age etc.

Is there anything similar in the US, and/or Europe, and if so, does anyone have the publication details?

Incidentally, my copy of Marshall Sahlins' pamphlet, Waiting for Foucault, much sought after on this list, came, courtesy of Amazon today. It was re-published in 1999. -- Jim heartfield
