wealth gap & immigrants

Stats in a book I believe titled The New Immigrants, research by The National Research Council, has figures on immigrant cohorts' incomes over time.  Seems like recent cohorts'(largest proportion of whom are Mexican origin) incomes were lower than previous waves (largest proportion = European).  Also seem to recall, though, that Mexican or "Hispanic" immigrants' incomes since the 80's lower than previous cohorts of Hispanic immigrants.
