Just wait until they get back on the streets. If you aren't a psychopath when you enter the criminal justice system you will be when you leave. Getting criminals off of whose streets? Most victims of crime are poor. In Canada, where I live at least 75% of the incarcerated had incomes under $C15,000 whenthey entered prison. Things are so bad now that the Vancouver pre-trial center is setting people free because there is no room to incarcerate them.
