Concerning Mark Lane, Bertrand Russell was an admirer of his and he collaborated with him in the creation of "The British Who Killed Kennedy? Committee." Russell discussed this in his Autobiography. The "Who Killed Kennedy Committee" included in addition to Russell such figures as the playwright John Arden, Tony Benn's wife, Carolyn, Lord Boyd-Orr, the Labour politician, Michael Foot, Kingsley Martin who then edited the "New Statesman," Sir Herbert Read, Tony Richardson, Hugh Trevor-Roper, and Kenneth Tynan amongst others.
