Sorry to be a pedant -- and so young on this list! -- but that's envy you're describing. Jealousy is rich, weird, complex, tormented, racked with desire often coupled with hatred of the same object, the source of much weeping and gnashing of teeth, and a huge amount of literature. Envy is, what -- covetousness mixed with a sense of deprivation? Dry as ashes, next to jealousy.
