Perhaps the problem is not Nader but Greens & more importantly the electoral process, then. One can't expect Nader to behave like a courageous & principled anti-imperialist -- if he had, he wouldn't have become a rich celebrity to begin with. The Green Party is set on breaking into the electoral process, so they badly want a celebrity candidate like Nader for this purpose, and therefore they don't want to hear any story from people like Tim that is critical of Nader's politics in any way. The Green Party doesn't feel that it can successfully wage an electoral campaign based upon its party platform in America, instead of one based upon the name recognition of a famous man. Political parties in America are basically collections of individuals with their fund-raising machines, not political _parties_ whose principles are democratically worked out by, and binding upon, their members. The Green Party isn't acting any differently from the two evils in this regard. *No political party, no organic intellectual born of partisanship.*
