If only one of the contestants for power is "legitimate" it is the 
"legitimate regime." That's what it means to be a "legitimate regime" 
is.

labeled them (1) and (2). I connected them. "Put[ting] words into 
people's mouths," sheesh.

Do you actually believe the attempts at character assassination you 
are undertaking?
