[Excerpt from a letter from one Warren Tranquada, Westfield, NJ, in today's Wall Street Journal:]

Death penalty opponents should stop defending the innocence of death row inmates and accept that most are guilty as charged. Those who tout the "innocent man" argument change the debate from one of morals to one of facts and set themselves up for articles that damage their credibility.
