Some people have commented on the lack of 'leadership' of the anarchist/anti-IMF/anti-WTO movement.
A while back, somebody posted what had been done to some leaders of the 'free Mumia' movement - that they had been slapped with an unprecedented level of punishment for a sub-midemeanor offense. A level of punishment which had been planned ahead of time, by the government.
This makes 'hard-to-decapitate' a vital feature of any movement (or collection of movements).
The government can and will act against leaders, at some point. And that is with a Democratic president. With a GOPper like Shrub II, and his DoJ appointees, it would probably be much worse.
