On July 8th a coalition was formed in order to mobilize forces to protest against the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.
At our first coalition meeting over 40 people showed up, representing many different organizations including United Students Against Sweatshops, UNITE, Direct Action Network, Refuse and Resist, Food not Bombs, The International Socialist Organization, Acorn, Human Rights Watch, Campaign to End the Death Penalty, August 1st Coalition, The Socialist Party, Modern Times Collective, Make the Road by Walking, And more!!
THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE ON MONDAY, JULY 17TH @6:00 pm AT THE UNITE OFFICE: 1710 Broadway (between 54th and 55th St)
