No. The CD's have no number in them. There is some secret algorithm that lets the install program recognize a good number from a bad one. Well it used to be secret, but I've seen hacks. In principle any number should work with any CD, not that I've ever done this myself, mind you.

Exception is CD's configured for specific hardware, as mentioned here previously. In that case, any number should still work, but any cd in any machine won't.
