I saw a session of the California reform party on c-spam where Buchanan answered questions. He is morphing into a more traditional reactionary small- gov nationalism -- his roots -- and away from populist themes. This means he will take more votes away from Schrub and give more to Nader, not a bad outcome either way. His followers were fairly impolite to RP brethren who posed polite disagreements w/Buchanan's cultural positions, underlining the likelihood of a major brouhaha at the upcoming RP convention that will probably wreck what's left of the RP.
